Hashmi Greets Pandits On Mela Kheer Bhawani
The Socio-Political Activist Syed Karar Hashmi from Central Kashmir Dub Ganderbal has extended his heartiest greetings to the Kashmiri Pandit community, on the eve of annual Kheer Bhawani Mela at Tulmulla Ganderbal which falls on the auspicious day of “Zeshta Ashtami” attended by lakhs of hindu pilgrims from across the country largely the Kashmiri Pandit Community, who throng the famous Ragyna Devi Temple in Tulmulla Ganderbal to seek the blessings.
In a message Agha Karar Hashmi said that this festival symbolizes harmonized cultural ethos of J&K and reflects of its glorious pluralistic values, here Nobody in Kashmir ever dreamed that a bunch of people will succeed in dividing us on such a way that your return will be too difficult and so long.
Today Kashmiri Pandits are not living in Kashmir due to political misfortune but they are still ruling in our hearts and we appealing them to come back and be part of the collective struggle against all upset and downs. Hashmi added
Hashmi reminded past memories of both communities participating in Marriage and death occasions.During the marriage functions of Hindus, Muslims were invited and vice versa.
Karar Hashmi currently studying at Qom Iran hoped that the devotees that could not come due to COVID-19 will witness the holy rituals and Aarti of the Deity as per the tradition via Social media and prayed Almighty Allah to bring Peace, good days and brotherhood back on the Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
Socio-Political Activist Karar Hashmi also requested GOI and LG Administration to give all possible help and make every effort for returning of Kashmiri Pandits back as they are an inseparable part of the Kashmiri society, and the inclusive ethos, for which Kashmir has been known for ages, is incomplete without them.
